I forgot my password, what should I do?

Follow the steps explained in this article if you are unable to connect to your Doctolib patient account and you want to reset your password.

To remember

  • Doctolib employees will never ask you for your password. Be sure to keep it confidential and not share it with anyone ;
  • For security reasons, we recommend that you change your password regularly, preferably using upper and lower case letters, a number and a special character ;
  • You can reset your Doctolib account password only if you have already created a Doctolib account ;
  • You can reset the password for your Doctolib account by email or SMS.

 

I want or need to reset my password

I want to reset my password via email

If you want to reset your password by email, follow these steps:

Step 1 - Request the reset

  1. Open your Doctolib mobile app
  2. Tap on Name=user.png Login located at the bottom right of the navigation bar and tap on the blue Log-in button again
  3. Enter the e-mail address used for your Doctolib account and tap on Next
  4. Tap on Forgot your password?
  5. If your email address is verified, enter only the email address associated with your account then tap Reset my password
  6. If your email address is not verified, enter the email address and phone number associated with your account
  7. Tap Reset my password

Step 2 - Define new password once you´ve received an e-mail

  1. Click on Change your password
    1. If you have not verified your email address or if you open the link on a new device, you will receive a second email containing a code that you will need to enter before resetting your password
  2. Create a new password
  3. After validation of your new password, you are connected to your Doctolib patient account

Remark

For security reasons, it is necessary to validate your email address in order to be able to process and consult the documents sent by your practitioners. This is why we invite you to check it using the email sent to your inbox (Subject: "Your Doctolib account - validation of your email").

I want to reset my password via SMS

If you want to reset your password by SMS, follow these steps:

Step 1 - Request the reset

  1. Open your Doctolib mobile app
  2. Tap on Name=user.png Login located at the bottom right of the navigation bar and tap on the blue Log-in button again
  3. Enter the e-mail address used for your Doctolib account and tap on Next
  4. Tap on Forgot your password?
  5. Tap on Reset per SMS
  6. Enter your phone number associated with your account and your date of birth
  7. Tap Reset my password

Step 2 - Define new password once you´ve received an SMS

  1. Tap on the link in the SMS
  2. If you open the link on a new device, you will receive a second SMS containing a code that you will need to enter before resetting your password.
  3. Create a new password
  4. After validation of your new password, you are connected to your Doctolib patient account

Remark on the validity of the SMS

  • It may take a few minutes for the SMS to be received. If you have not received anything, we invite you to check the information provided ;
  • Password reset links have a validity limit ;
  • Links received by SMS or email: 1 day ;
  • Codes received by SMS or email: 60 minutes.
