Receive and verify my verification code

Dernière modification le

When creating your account, a phone number is required.

To remember

  • Your phone number is communicated to the practitioners with whom you make an appointment online so that they can contact you if necessary;
  • Your phone number will also allow you to receive reminder SMS for your upcoming appointments.
Check your number while signing up

Once your phone number, mobile or fixed, is communicated and your registration validated, a three-digit verification code is sent on this number (by SMS or voice call). You will then need to enter this code in a dedicated field to ensure that the phone number is yours. You can then confirm your appointment.

Verify your number manually
  1. Log in to your Doctolib account
  2. Click on Name=user-gear.png Account located at the bottom right corner of your screen
  3. Within the Login, click on Name=phone.png Phone
  4. Click on Check my phone
  5. Enter the 3-digit verification code sent by SMS
  6. Click on Continue

Your phone is verified.

Additional information to know

  • The time to receive the authentication code depends on your operator's network;
  • Beyond 2 minutes, we invite you to check if the phone number is correct;
  • If you still do not receive a 3-digit verification code, you can reach our support line by clicking on Contact us;
  • When you change the phone number associated with an account (already existing), an verification code is also sent to ensure that the new number is yours.
Receive an authentication code with a foreign phone number

It is possible to create a Doctolib patient account with a foreign phone number. To do so, register your phone number with your country code. You must enter "+" and the country code so that your number is noted in the required format as an international number. Please do not rate "00" instead of "+".
