The 2-factor authentication (2-FA) is a method to confirm you as the owner of a Doctolib account. This way we ensure the security of your personal and health data.
How do I receive my authentication code?
As soon as you register or log in on your device, you will be asked to pass a 2-factor authentication. Depending on the contact details you have stored in your account, you will receive the code either via SMS or via e-mail.
Code via E-Mail
- Check your personal email account for an e-mail from Doctolib
- Enter the code from that e-mail into the 2-FA login screen in the app
- Please note: Your code is valid for 10 minutes from the time you receive the e-mail
Code via SMS
- You will receive an SMS to the mobile phone number you´ve provided
- Enter the code from the SMS into the 2-FA login screen
- Depending on your device, you can also insert the code directly via the one-tap function
- Please note: Your code is valid for 10 minutes from the time you receive the SMS
I didn´t receive a code
If you didn´t received a code, you have the option to change the delivery method.
- To do this, tap on Choose another method in the screen on your mobile App
- Choose whether you would like to receive the code by SMS or by e-mail
- The code will now be delivered via the selected method
My code doesn´t work - i need a new code
If you have accidentally entered the code incorrectly or the code is not accepted for other reasons, you can have a new code sent to you.
- To do this, tap Use another method in the login screen
- Select the same delivery method as before
- Check the code from the e-mail or SMS you´ve received
