Create my Doctolib account

Prerequisites

Before proceeding with the creation of a Doctolib patient account, please refer yourself to:

• The General Conditions of Use of Doctolib services;
• The Privacy Policy.

Step 1 - Creating a Doctolib patient account

1. Open the Doctolib mobile application
2. Click on Log in located at the top right corner of the screen
3. At the question "New on Doctolib?", click on Sign up
4. Start by entering your email or phone number in the dedicated field
5. Click on Continue
6. Fill in your identity traits (Male or Female, First name, Name, Date of birth)
   • Please keep in mind that the creation of a Doctolib account becomes possible only when the digital majority is reached, from the age of 15.
7. Click on Continue
8. Create a password
   • The password must contain at least one uppercase, lowercase and one number.
9. Enter your phone number
   • On a mobile phone, the code will be sent by SMS;
   • On a landline, the code will be sent by robotic voice message, make sure you are next to your phone;
   • If you use a foreign number, add your country code using + (and not 00).
10. Check I have read and accepted the Terms of Use
    • This is mandatory.
11. Click on Continue
12. If you wish to receive information to better manage your health, check the dedicated box
13. Click on Continue
14. Enter the 3-digit verification code received by SMS and Continue

Your Doctolib account has been created.

Additional information to know

• If you have already received confirmation emails or reminder texts for appointments made by your loved one or practitioner, this does not mean that your Doctolib patient account was created by default ;
• If a loved one has already made an appointment for you, fill in the same phone number and email information to retrieve the appointment information ;
• After creating your Doctolib patient account, if you want to retrieve the history of appointments taken by a relative for you, it is necessary to attach each of them to your patient account from the confirmation email or the reminder text.

Step 2 - Set up your Doctolib account

We strongly recommend that you fill in your identity information prior to making an online appointment. For this purpose:

1. Click on Account located at the bottom right corner of your screen
2. Within the Personal information section, click on My profile
3. In your profile's banner, click on Edit
4. If necessary, change the information you first filled in during the creation of your profile (Sex as shown on official documents, First name, Name, Date of birth) 
   • Changes made to your profile will be shared with your practitioner.
5. Fill in the other required fields: 
   • Has your last name changed since birth?;
   • Place of birth;
   • City of birth.
6. If you wish, fill in your residential address in the dedicated fields
7. Click on Save
8. Within the Login section, click on Email
9. Click on Verify my email
10. Enter the 8-digit verification code received by email

Your profile has been updated and you email address is verified.

Caution

We advise you to not change the account owner once an appointment has been taken on the account, as this can cause malfunctions with the practitioners' calendars as well as on your appointment history.
